How we can help
Our energy advisors can visit you at home, talk to you over the phone, or meet you at one of our local drop-ins. With a free home energy survey, we use a thermal camera to show where your home is losing heat, then give you simple, practical tips to fix it. We can also fit free energy-saving items such as draught-proofing, LED light bulbs and radiator panels. If you're finding bills hard to manage, we can help you understand them, talk to your supplier, sort out payment plans and check whether you're entitled to grants or other support.
HEAT is open to every household in Hull and East Riding, whether you own your home or rent it. We give extra support to older people, disabled people, families and anyone on a low income, but you don't need to meet any conditions to ask for advice. Our advice is always free, and we'll never try to sell you anything. Getting Started (coming soon) - Alan Dalgairns, Project Manager
