The Unity Food Bank allows us to create low-cost food parcels for members of our community who are struggling to make ends meet. If you’d like to donate some food, the following items are urgently needed:

  • Jars and packets of cooking sauces

  • Tinned meat and fish

  • Jars of jam and peanut butter

  • Tinned soup, fruit or vegetables

  • Tinned beans or pulses

  • Bags of rice and pasta

  • Boxed cereals

  • Condiments and spices

  • Stock and gravy

  • Long-life juices, milk and cordial

  • Teas and coffee

  • Sanitary products

You can drop off your thoughtful donation at Unity in Community (372 Greenwood Avenue, Hull, HU6 8AP) from Monday to Friday between 9am and 3:30pm. If you’re unable to drop it off yourself, we also accept supermarket deliveries on the above days and times. Every item will benefit a local person, so we’re very grateful for donations large and small.
