Unity in Community is always here when you need advice, guidance, or simply someone to talk to. We provide an ongoing drop-in service that offers one-to-one support to anyone who needs it, allowing residents to pop down whenever they’re in the mood or visit us regularly if they require ongoing help. If you’re looking for specific support from another organisation but don’t know how to access it, such as Citizens Advice, City Health Care Partnership, Connexions or Mind, we’re here to provide you with a speedy referral.
Available 9am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 12noon on Friday, our drop-in service is also a great opportunity to chat to our team about our many projects, as there are so many exciting ways to get involved. It’s often the case that a resident visits us just to say hi and have a cuppa, only to then find out that there are many interesting opportunities available to them.
We also provide free use of our modern IT facility, which has multiple computers and a fast Wi-Fi connection that can be used for anything from job searches to everyday tasks and keeping in touch with friends and family. Whether you don’t have access to a computer at home, want to learn the basics of IT or simply enjoy the social aspect of using our computer suite, you’re more than welcome to visit The Community Hub at 501 Endike Lane.
I often use Unity in Community to access my e-mails and do some prints, staff are always extremely helpful. I would 100% recommend Unity, I can' thank them enough
