What is the procurement process?
Open level –any organisation can apply.
Why is the tender process so formal?
This is to ensure that the process is handled in a fair and consistent manner. We will ensure consistency in the information provided to contractors and in the way in which we communicate with them.
We are unable to make a site visit, should we still tender?
If you are unable to make a site visit, we may be able to accommodate you at another time. If you e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org we will endeavour to accommodate you at a convenient time.
We are unable to start the works on the advertised date, can we still apply?
You are welcome to apply, however, this may have an impact on the scoring of your tender. The weighting of which can be found in the specification
We have some questions we would like answering, can we meet to discuss these?

My pricing exceeds the ceiling budget in the specification, should we still apply?
Yes you should apply, this may have an impact on the scoring of your tender. The weighting of which can be found in the specification.
What happens if I miss the advertised deadline?
We are unable to score late applications and extensions cannot be given
How do I upload my tender documents?
The completed Tender and associated documents must be submitted via to e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday 24th December 2019. Any tenders that are submitted incomplete will not be considered.
Can you please confirm the construction of the windows and external doors for the above project as there is conflicting information. On the construction notes provided by Liam during the site visit, it states windows to be white PVC but on the actual drawing of the South block, alloy is mentioned
White PVC windows are proposed throughout.

Are all the floors to be replaced throughout as per Liam’s directive during the site visit or do we price for what is identified to be replaced on the already received documentation?
There are a few areas that require repaired/levelled, we require what is in the documentation.
Is new lighting required throughout or do you want to retain any of the existing?
Our preference would be to retain the lighting where possible.
Can you please clarify which floor areas will be covered with carpet tiles and which areas will be vinyl?
Carpeted throughout other than Toilet and break room areas
On your breakdown of costs (last page of ITT Part 2) it doesn’t include internal walls, plant, scaffolding, where do you want us to put these costs?
Within the document you are able to add additional rows to the table, please add rows and place the information in there
In the item toilets installed, the yard is included, is this correct? When visiting site with Liam we were not made aware of any works other than in the main building.
The original tender had information relating to working with a local training provider during their works, this is a project they are working on. Please do not price for the toilets in the yard.
