Help and support in accessing the new jobs market

Help and support in accessing the new jobs market
August 27, 2020 rob

As the government furlough scheme begins to phase out – ending completely at the end of October, national research by the CIPD shows around one-third of employers are planning to cut staff numbers; with hospitality, retail, transport and storage industries to be worst hit.

It’s not all bad news though as other sectors have announced they will be hiring new workers and we can help you prepare for jobs in these areas; IT and digital technology, warehousing, supermarkets, lorry drivers and cleaning.

The team at Unity can offer a helping hand to gain new skills, undertake training and feel more confident about your future. Some of our training opportunities include:

  • SIA License for working in security
  • CSCS cards for working on any type of construction site
  • Forklift Truck License
  • Customer Service
  • Mental Health Awareness
  • Fire Safety Level 2
  • Health and Safety Level 2
  • Food Hygiene Level 2
  • Workplace First Aid Training

Help includes: CV writing, job searches, digital skills, training opportunities and applying for Universal Credit if required.
